The smell of success

Mahidol University International College is organising "The Universe Of Perfumes" exhibition where visitors will learn about fragrances.

Starting today and running until Thursday, the exhibition is categorised into seven sections including The History of Perfume, Perfume in Literature and Cinema, Perfume Creation: From the Flower to the Bottle, and The Industry of Fragrances. The opening ceremony is at 1pm today, followed by a seminar on the "Market of Perfumes in Thailand" with leading figures from French companies in Bangkok as guest speakers, including representatives from Chanel Thailand, Jerome Pointecouteau (V. Mane Fils Thailand) and Frederick Besson (Bel Perfumes).

Other activities include a business case competition for students, a seminar/workshop, a booth where visitors can test fragrances, and booths promoting perfumes by leading brands such as Chanel, Guerlain, Dior and Nina Ricci.
