Movie-goers often have time to kill before the movie starts _ after all, movies here don't really start until about 30 minutes of commercials has ended. There is a lot to do to fill that void without leaving the movie theatre area, from snacking on overpriced bites to listening to the incessant announcements about latest promotions. Fun!
Thankfully, a new option has been recently introduced _ a "movie spa", which is a spa located in the movie theatre's vicinity on 5th floor of Siam Paragon. The idea is for movie-goers, as well as those looking for a relaxing time, to relax while waiting for the right time to go into the theatre.
Angel Chan, managing director of Vie Movie Spa, revealed that the initial idea was inspired by her love for movies, as well as her love for getting pampered. When waiting to board an airplane, she came up with the idea to open a spa close to movie theatres. If she could sit in a massage chair in the VIP lounge while waiting for her flight, why can't movie theatres offer the same option?
