Used-book sale this weekend

The Neilson Hays Library is holding a sale of second-hand, English-language books at its Surawong Road premises this Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am to 4pm.
The books, all donated by supporters of this historic lending library, come from a wide spectrum of genres and are still in good condition.
With prices ranging from as little as 50 baht up to 250 baht (for large, coffee-table editions), there are sure to be bargains galore for those who arrive early on Saturday morning. Lots of children's books will be up for grabs, too, with prices as low as 100 baht for four publications. While you're there, have a peek at the artwork on display at the in-house Rotunda Art Gallery and the adjacent Garden Cafe, which also serves snacks, cakes, beverages and light meals.
