Volunteers are needed for "Repair Home, Fostering Love" project to repair foster parents' houses in Ayutthaya, devastated by massive floods last year.
The repair project, held on Sunday, July 29, by Buddhika Network in conjunction with Holt Sahathai Foundation, is open for 25 volunteers, each should have basic construction skills. It is advisable they register with the organisers and state what they can do to avoid work redundancy. The volunteers should bring hats, rubber gloves, water bottles and construction tools.
This activity is a sequel to the pha paa ceremony, held earlier this month, to raise funds for the flood-devastated fosters parents. The ceremony collected about 2 million baht.
