From the revered bard as Victorian headphones to a disgruntled pig at a sink, advertising creativity, humour and inventiveness was celebrated at the recent Adfest held last week in Pattaya.
Adfest is an annual advertising festival covering the Asian region, including the Pacific, the Middle East and beyond. The event comprises three activities: an advertising contest of creative works, talks presented by top industry creatives, and an exhibition showcasing the contest entries.
This year’s theme “Co-Create The Future” examined the power of collaboration in a world where consumers can define and influence the value of brands, products and services. The contest features 17 categories, with the addition of the “Media Lotus” awards, which recognise creative and innovative use of the new media platforms.
