Five double bluffs commonly used by politicians

Red shirt co-leader Jatuporn Prompan unsettled a few Bangkokians with his recent tirade in which he claimed that the Red Army must take to the streets once again because his inside sources at US Intelligence HQ told him there's going to be a coup to overthrow the beloved sister of Mr Thaksin "The Outlaw" Shinawatra in April.

With the Red Army potentially gearing up for another battle, some voices have claimed that this is actually a smokescreen to take the attention away from PM "No Tablets Yet" Yingluck. This wouldn't be the first time a Thai politician has dropped a Batman-esque smoke bomb and jumped out of a political window into the night. Let's take a look at how some cunning tricksters got their trapped behinds out of a dark corner by using the ol' smokescreen technique, and learn how to use it ourselves so we can suavely get our way out of any bind without consequence.
