The recent national Expanding Your Horizons Thailand 2012 (EYH) conference was held to foster young women's interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The conference was a joint effort between Seagate Technology (Thailand), National Electronics and Computer Technology Centre (Nectec) and Kasetsart University.

    Speaking as an Engineer - we actually prefer female engineers as they are more conscientious and better technically. Plus they are not always taking days off for 'bad stomach'
    Speaking as a parent of a daughter - why are the Thai soaps always showing women as inferior and simpering. 'Inspiring girls to dream big' - I don't think so
