From good nutrition habits to optimal exercise regimens, the concept of balance figures prominently in important health matters. While many people struggle to stick to a regular exercise routine, some people take things too far the other way by exercising too much _ a decision that carries its own set of health dangers, including more frequent injuries and added stress.
Striking an exercise balance isn't always easy. If you've been exercising frequently and at a high level of intensity but don't notice any positive results, it's tempting to turn up the intensity another notch or two, and maybe add another 10 or 15 minutes to your normal workout. But be warned: You are putting your health at risk.
