Punching below our weight

I'm afraid I'm not much use for anything else at the moment; my life has been dominated this past week by the Olympics. Although I'd love to wave the Thai flag more often, I have to take consolation in just watching the world's best from other countries competing in every possible summer sport under the sun.
And what consolation. The quality and level of skill of these athletes means I can just tune in to any event and be amazed. I am fascinated by women's volleyball events. These ladies are Amazonian _ tall, beautiful, physically powerful, and tough to boot. I love to watch the running serves that send the ball flying across the length of the court, and those smashes and blocks.
The gymnastics events, diving and synchronised swimming are my all-time favourites. Pure beauty in motion, no less.
