Ran into my old friend Don the other day. Good old Don. We used to see each other all the time back in the day. For a good 15 years or so there was hardly a week that went by where we didn't catch up.
Like so many things in life, I kind of took our friendship for granted. Don was never going to win any Mr Handsome awards; a little chunky but lovable all the same.
In the mid-2000s we started to drift apart, until one day I woke up and Don was pretty much out of my life. That's because I was kind of forced to ditch Don for a younger, sexier, bigger lady in a shimmering evening gown who went by the glitzy name of Suvarnabhumi.
