Literary date for eight winners

Southeast Asia's most prestigious literary awards conclude for this year with a ceremony tomorrow night during which eight winners from eight countries will be officially honoured.

On behalf of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana will be presiding over the 2012 SEA Write Awards Presentation and gala dinner, which will take place at the Royal Ballroom, Mandarin Oriental, tomorrow at 7pm.

The awards began in 1979, and over the years have provided distinctive recognition for the region's fiction, short story and poetry authors.
