The market for home automation products continues to grow despite economic uncertainties. 

Home automation adoption is moving into the mainstream as a combination of home connectivity, standardization, and a range of new sensors and devices bring an ever expanding number of players into the market. ©PinkBlue/Shuttertsock.com

According to ABI Research published Monday, this growth will swell the market to 8 million installations by 2017 and is being driven by a number of new products and companies emerging from the US.
