Winning flood relief prototypes on display

Thailand Creative & Design Centre (TCDC) presents a showcase of the 10 winning prototypes from the "Design For Flood" contest. Using "design thinking" as the framework, the project team conducted a field survey to determine the problems and needs of the people affected by last year's flood within the Bangkok metropolitan area and vicinity.
The Design For Flood Exhibition will be on from Thursday until Jan 27 at the TCDC, 6th floor of Emporium, Sukhumvit Road. It is open Tues-Sun from 10.30am-9pm. Call 02-664-8448 ext 213 or visit www.tcdc.or.th.
The creative prototypes demonstrate how design thought processes can help answer the needs of flood victims, and also provide an opportunity for further development to interested manufacturers and entrepreneurs.
