    For item #1 you forgot the most important things. You need stickers on all windows preferably reading "Manchester United" or "Baby on Board" The windshield needs several years worth of registration stickers, an old insurance sticker, a pass sticker for the moo baan, a club sticker, a parking lot sticker (or two), a sticker for AIS and a Black band at the top and bottom to protect from the sun glare. All windows need tint so dark that it is impossible to see out at night; but at least it keeps people from "monging" you.

    actually, having been here 15 years, a lot of this is so class- and demographic-based.
    most Thai women I know, friends of my wife and others, come from a relatively mid to higher Bangkok background, so it's all bikinis and definitely not t-shirt and shorts.
    as for the car...

    all kinda playing to the easy stereotypes.
