Colourful renditions of everything from enlightenment to eroticism _ with a heavy dose of cartoons thrown in _ on buses and trucks lighten up dreary long-haul runs, though it's best to ponder them deeply only in traffic jams
I have just returned from a couple of hours viewing displays of modern Thai art.
Some of the depictions were of well known figures in Thai folklore.
More than a few were of a religious nature, weaving traditional Buddhist notions into a more contemporary theme while retaining an uncompromising inner core of artistic integrity.
