Lost In Thailand is a 2012 Chinese comedy film directed and co-written by Xu Zheng. It is about three guys who go searching for their boss in Chiang Mai and it has become the highest-grossing Chinese film in history. The charming landscape of Thailand, which is shown in the film, has fired up the Chinese desire to visit the Kingdom.
Early this year, Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra granted an interview to Xu Zheng. Yingluck thanked the actor for giving Thai tourism positive publicity. With their increasing numbers, Thai people are paying closer attention to Chinese tourists _ and some of their bad habits are also exposed.
A Thai friend asked me whether all Chinese tourists liked to speak loudly. Many years ago, that was a fact. At that time, China was relatively backwards. When Chinese tourists went outside the country, they found many novel things that they had never seen before.
