Classical guitar fans had their Iberian taste well sated at the Thailand Cultural Centre earlier this month when a feast of Spanish works marked the arrival of Milos Karadaglic, a soloist from Montenegro who's signed to the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon.

After Arriaga's lengthy Mozartian overture Los Esclavos Felices, Karadaglic rode the crest of popular reception with Joaquin Rodrigo's luscious composition Concierto De Aranjuez, played alongside Bangkok Symphony Orchestra directed by the charismatic French conductor Antoine Marguier.
