SPECIAL FASHION WRAP-UP
It's been quite a year for fashionistas, albeit a very contradictory one. Despite welcoming a lot of new brands mass and niche alike, who would imagine the likes of dressy Bangkok's denizens would need to finish the year with charity fashion, wellingtons and PVC/plastic materials to venture the flood-soaked City of Angels. Unfortunately, apart from a few lows, the year has a lot to remember and Muse looks back at 2011 to find the most memorable moments.
1 The consummate Kates
The two Kates do the Brits proud choosing British designers to conjure up wedding gowns for their big day. From Kate Middleton in Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen to supermodel Kate Moss in creation by designer friend John Galliano. Although the first is dubbed for being ``un-McQueen'' by some onlookers, it truly puts Alexander McQueen successor and current house designer Burton into the global spotlight away from the late genius's shadow.
