As if giant fashion house and media magnet Christian Dior remaining sans-designer for another season isn't enough, Paris Fashion Week is hit by another blow _ there will not be Celine show for the coming Paris Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 due to the pregnancy of creative director Phoebe Philo. She's expected to give birth to her third child in April.
The style jamboree, scheduled to start in early March following New York, London and Milan, has been doting on the success of Celine _ the fashion house British designer Philo has helped resurrected since 2008. For nearly 3 years, the Celine show is a highlight fixture thanks to Philo's visionary that has steered the course of fashion from excessive exuberance to unfussy structures and sharp tailoring.
Although the Celine runway show will be put on hiatus, the 38-year-old designer and her team are working on the Autumn/Winter collection, which is due to hit the racks in September. It will be presented in a more intimate format to selected press.
