Designer Purinutt Wongsathapornsakun's latest collection is inspired by the Thai national flag

Award-winning young Thai designer Purinutt Wongsathapornsakun has launched his unique Tri Harmony Spring/Summer 2012 collection, inspired by the tricolour Thai national flag.

In 1921, King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) defined the Thai national flag, Triranga (also referred as Thong Trairong, meaning tricolour flag) as follows:

"On the national flag of Thailand there exist the three colours _ red, white and blue _ which are collectively known as the Triranga. Red signifies the sacrifice of blood for the country; white the pureness of Buddhism and Dharma and blue the Monarchy.
