A week of high-octane fashion returned to Singapore, and this year even without a proper theme as everything seemed to be about the euphoric marriage of fashion and technology.

The Audi Fashion Festival welcomed more bloggers and online media than ever.

Staged from May 14-19, the Asia Fashion Exchange positions itself as well as Singapore as the hub of fashion in Southeast Asia. This year the fashion industry - a sector that injects about S$6.4 billion (160 billion baht) a year into the country's economy - has evolved from traditional designing and retailing to focus more on value-adding activities that exist largely in the cyberworld.
