There were gnomes and poodles, cakes and then Kate Moss at the preview of spring/summer 2013 collection from Mulberry. Freshly tanned from her holiday by the beach, the supermodel - epitome of English quintessential cool - was all smiley backstage after the show.

Back to the collection, the brand delves intothe 1970s this season, playing with a myriad of palettes of the English flora, and such things as brocade and broderie anglaise. Apart from the English gardens, you also have here gecko prints - and we're talking about prints with (lots of) geckos, and not one that reminisces the skin colour of the reptile. You couldn't really know what it actually is from the second and third row seats - they look just like any psychedelic hippy prints. Up close, you could see it's a combination of daisies and geckos, in woven fabrics that feel so organic, so natural and laid-back.
