Dwayne Johnson as Hercules in upcoming movie

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will play the mythological strongman in Brett Ratner's Hercules, reveals Deadline.com.

The former wrestler has accepted the title role in the film Hercules, inspired by Radical Studios' graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars. Liberated from his Twelve Labors, the demigod has to face the Thracian army, which he trained himself.
