The first trailer for upcoming spine-chilling thriller Dark Skies shows Keri Russell and Josh Hamilton as parents that are faced with an alien threat in their own home.

After Legion and Priest, Scott Stewart's forthcoming Dark Skies depicts a series of bizarre alien intrusions that create a mounting sense of fear in a suburban household. The mid-budget film seems to rely on its script and cast rather than on special effects, and looks like a hybrid between Sinister, Signs and Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Dark Skies is set to hit North American theaters on February 22, 2013.
