'Star Wars' actor Joel Edgerton in talks for 'Jane Got a Gun'

Australian actor Joel Edgerton may join Natalie Portman and Michael Fassbender in Jane Got a Gun, reveals Deadline.com.

Edgerton, who put his name on the map with the movie Animal Kingdom (2010), is currently in talks for the role of the bad guy in Jane Got a Gun. Natalie Portman will produce and star in the film, which "centers on Jane Hammond (Portman), who reaches out to her ex-lover (Fassbender) to help her when her outlaw husband becomes the target of a violent gang. Edgerton would play John Bishop, the leader of the gang coming to kill Hammond's husband," according to Deadline.com.
