Elle Fashion Film Festival kicks off today for the public at SFX Cinema, Emporium, and runs until Sunday.

The nine films in the programme have been chosen either because they're about fashion and the fashion industry, or because they use clothes as a major element in telling the story to define the characters.

A Single Man, Tom Ford's directorial debut, is showing tonight at 8pm. The film stars Colin Firth as a gay man trying to cope with the death of his lover.
