Globally celebrated as "the German face of gastronomy", Bühner is the chef of the three Michelin-starred La Vie restaurant in the heart of the historic old town of Osnabrück. He was awarded his first Michelin star when working at La Table restaurant in Dortmund in 1996. Ten years later he was voted Chef of the Year by Gault Millau. The culinary virtuoso was bestowed with a third Michelin star in 2011.
On Oct 12-14, Bühner promises to delight his dining guests in Bangkok with his three-dimensional, avant-garde and aromatic cuisine.
The multi-course creations, featuring the likes of bison, sole, French turbot, Gillardeau oyster and Kagoshima wagyu beef, are not merely a collection of meals but a symphony of tastes in which each ingredient's own natural intensity of flavour is allowed to emerge.
