Raspberry tart is one of the traditional desserts of France and Germany. Therefore, for the 2013 Bangkok Chefs' Charity Gala Dinner, Aurelien Poirot of Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit and Ansgar Schlemmer of Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, executive chefs of French and German nationalities, decided to come up with a contemporary version of raspberry tart that will beautifully wrap up the evening.

"It was our idea to offer the guests a very healthy and very delightful dessert. So, coming from France and Germany, raspberry tart seemed to be the perfect option," said Schlemmer.
