In an effort to bring people together and raise awareness of breast cancer, Blue Elephant will serve a special, highly nutritious five-course menu called "Pink Ribbon" to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Blue Elephant is offering a Pink Ribbon five-course dinner to raise funds for the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer this month.
In collaboration with the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer, the campaign is spearheaded by chef Nooror Somany Steppe, who is also ambassador to the centre, and introduces specific herbs, fruits and vegetables rich in antioxidants, and those known to have anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties on the menu.
Fresh, organic ingredients have been used to conjure up a delicious series of innovative dishes such as tom jew consomme (clear beef consomme of tenderloin beef, sweet potatoes flavoured with Thai holy basil and sweet basil), rambutan ivy leaf soup with soursop leaves, Indian mulberry rib-eye curry, lesser ginger crab souffle, and mango pudding.
The special, highly nutritious Pink Ribbon menu is available for lunch and dinner at both Blue Elephant in Bangkok (on Sathon Road) and in Phuket throughout this month.
The menu is priced at 1,980++ baht per person. All proceeds raised from the sale of the Pink Ribbon menu and souvenirs will be donated to Thai women in need at the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer.
