Very few people have chit-chatted with the royalty of the world, be via a global broadcast or in a private garden, unseen to the public eye. Journalistic requests can open many doors — those of palaces included — but British native Max Foster has never taken this for granted.

“I’m grateful for it and I still do [enjoy my job], even on days when I spend 12 hours on a pavement in London in the rain,” the CNN International anchor and Royal Correspondent said. “I was waiting and broadcasting twice an hour about the baby not being born yet, but even if given a choice I’d still choose to stay where the story is.”
