This weekend three top shopping malls in central Bangkok will be taken over by an incredible event that promises great music and good vibrations.

The "Bangkok Block Party" is back -- and it's bigger. This second instalment of the event brings an assortment of top Bangkok restaurants, activities for the whole family and an eclectic mix of music from around the world to Siam Paragon, Siam Center and Siam Discovery.

Organised by Blaq Lyte in collaboration with Rabbit, Future Factory and Auntys Haus, the outdoor block party will feature three stages with a variety of music including hip hop, electronic, indie and rock 'n' roll. More than 70 local and international acts will take turns to perform from noon to 10pm on both days. The rock stage will be headlined by The Flytraps all the way from Los Angeles while Bangkok's hottest artists will fill the two-day line-up curated by Rap Is Now, Bangkok's biggest underground rap crew.

A number of notable international acts are also set to delight local audiences. Among them is Chicago-based indie electronic group Autograf, Los Angeles-based electronic artist Paper Diamond, rapper Ugly Duck from Korean hip hop label AOMG, US-based hip hop DJs R3LL and Softest Hard, Dutch house DJs Jengi and Wantigga, and Jesse James Solomon and Crave Moore of the UK's underground art rap movement.

This year's theme has been designed in collaboration with LA-based streetwear company RIPNDIP. A special collection of clothing with vibrant colours and outstanding graphics is available exclusively at this event. Acting as hosts will be internet sensation Lil Mayo aka "the most savage alien on the gram" and American actor Ethan Cutkosky of Showtime's hit series Shameless.

Tickets cost 900 baht (3,500 baht for VIP including free flow Moose Cider) and are available exclusively through Rabbit Line Pay. In addition, 1,000 limited edition RIPNDIP-Rabbit cards will be available for sale during the event and all who sign up for Rabbit Rewards at the event will receive special privileges and discounts.

Visitors will enjoy music of various genres performed on three stages. Bangkok BLOCK PARTY
