World-class violin concerto

A group of remarkable musicians of the Salaya Modern Ensemble (SME) will perform a classical concert entitled "SME: Mendelssohn Violin Concerto" at Goethe Institute Bangkok on June 7 at 7:30pm.

The concert features highly talented violin soloist Charatmanat Lertsukon, who won second prize in the National Beethoven Competition for Young String Players in 2008.

The programme will feature Beethoven's Overture to Die Geschopfe des Prometheus, Op 43; Mozart's Ein Musikalischer Spass, K 522, Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E Minor, Op 64 as well as the Thailand's premiere of Echoes of Silence by a world-renowned composer, Narong Prangcharoen who has received the Silapathorn Award and many international prizes.
