Sofitel So Bangkok on Sathon Road invites all to "Step Up To The Beat" at the hotel's Ballroom on June 21 from 7pm to midnight. The event is part of of La Fete de la Musique, one of the most popular events in the City of Lights' festive calendar held every year on June 21 on the streets of Paris to celebrate the joy of music in all its varied styles.
Sofitel So Bangkok themes its music party night on the urban culture of hip hop and the growing fame of Thai DJs.
Step Up To The Beat features two of the nation's top DJs, and adds to the excitement with a battle between Thailand's leading dance crews. Party-goers can expect dynamic beats and mixes from DJ Benz, Pioneer Champ of the Champ 2010, and DJ P One, Northern Thailand Pioneer Champ 2011, while the night hots up as 20 dancers in four crews take to the floor to vie for the Grand Prize of 10,000 baht in a dance contest between Beat Heroes, the all-girl Eye Candy, the street dance team Pop, Lock & Roll, and the laser team Electro-Lightz.
