American R&B icon Bobby Womack returns stronger than ever on his first solo album in over a decade

American soul legend Bobby Womack has had it pretty rough with the death of his sons, drug addiction and his battle with cancer. But the man is a survivor through and through. After contributing to Gorillaz' 2010 single Stylo, the man returns to the studio to work on his 27th album _ the aptly titled The Bravest Man in the Universe. Co-produced by Blur's Damon Albarn, the record, comprising his first original recordings since 1994, portrays the 68 year old at his most confessional and autobiographical yet.
