Berryz Kobo trio set to liven up the Parc

J-pop sensation Berryz Kobo, who first entertained fans in the Kingdom two years ago, are sending three of their members back to Bangkok.

Shimizu Saki, Kumai Yurina and Sugaya Risako will give a mini concert at the Parc Paragon of Siam Paragon on Aug 26 at 3.15pm.

The concert is free of charge and a highlight of the "Japan Festa in Bangkok 2012 by Mainichi" which will transform Parc Paragon into a land for Japan lovers. Visitors will be treated to many cultural activities under the concept of "Japan Retro" on the weekend of Aug 25-26.

Berryz Kobo consists of seven members. They are famous for their dancing talent and bubbly personalities which shine in their music, making them one of Japan's leading girl groups.

Many of their singles have made their way to the Top 10 on the Oricon Chart and their combined CD and DVD sales exceed one million copies in Japan.

In 2008, the group received the Best Asian Newcomer Award at the Asia Song Festival held in South Korea where they were up against the strong K-pop boy bands and girl groups.
