Sirikhwan Buathong, a voice teacher and soprano singer affiliated with Thailand Opera and Musical Theater Company, will lead the cast at "A Night in August", a recital that aims to offer teachers, students and the public a taste of classical music and aria singing.

Accompanying her on stage will be Usa Napawan, a teacher and pianist at Bangkok Music Society, and Kittinant Chinsamran, a bass-baritone and voice instructor at Rangsit University who is also a member of Thammasat University Chorus, and her students.
The evening will feature pieces by composers such as Franz Liszt, Johannes Brahms, Reynaldo Hahn, Joaquin Rodrigo, George Frideric Handel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Jacques Offenbach, Franz Lehar and Victor Herbert.
Among the highlights are songs from familiar operas and operettas including Rinaldo, Giulio Cesare, Don Giovanni, Les Contes d'Hoffmann, The Merry Widow, Mlle. Modiste, and Carmina Burana.
