Back in 2000, a few months after the Y2K hysteria had died down, this twenty-something girl _ whose mononym and short fluorescent pink hairdo oozed as much sassy attitude as did her personality _ emerged on the music scene. There You Go, the first single from Pink's debut Can't Take Me Home, is a palatable blend of R&B and pop produced by Kevin Briggs, aka She'kspere, the brains behind TLC's Grammy Award-winning single No Scrubs and Destiny's Child's platinum album The Writing's on the Wall. With more hits that followed _ including Most Girls and You Make Me Sick _ the album quickly put her on the pop music map, earning her a rightful spot among pop heavyweights such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and N'Sync.
