While the novels and movies often divide opinions, the Twilight Saga soundtracks have never really shared the same predicament. The soundtrack for the first film was a pleasant surprise to fans of the series and music connoisseurs alike. Featuring songs from established rock acts such as Muse, Iron and Wine, Paramore and Linkin Park, the album went straight to the No1 spot in the US chart and later won a 2009 American Music Award for Favourite Soundtrack. It also became one of the best-selling movie soundtracks in the US.
