Jazz concert sure to warm hearts, charm lovers

Mellow Motif is a familiar name in the Asian jazz scene as they have represented Thailand at many major festivals in the region. And now the members of this vocal jazz and bossa nova group are all set to give what they are billing as the most heart-warming concert of the year, just after Valentine's Day.
Thailand’s very own Mellow Motif are holding a Valentine-friendly romantic concert at Siam Paragon next month.
Scheduled for Feb 17 at Siam Paragon's Siam Pavalai Royal Grand Theatre, the "Mellow Motif Plays Jazz for Lovers" will present new arrangements of timeless love songs from the Great American Songbook. Local jazz lovers in Bangkok are in for a treat because the concert will also feature a great line-up of guest musicians from overseas including Yuki Makita, a jazz pianist with a sweet touch and personality from Tokyo; Richard Jackson, an American jazz vocalist with a deep and soulful voice; and the man who is possibly Thailand's most loved saxophone player _ Koh Mr Saxman.
