Hard Rock Hotel in Pattaya hosts ‘Step-Up Dance ’13’ competition on March 30.
Dancers from all corners of the Kingdom are invited to enter the "Step-Up Dance '13: The Freestyle Prize and Battle" competition scheduled for March 30 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Pattaya. For the second year running, the challenge is on for dancers of any age or nationality to compete either solo or in men's, women's or mixed teams. There are three categories: popping dance, a one-on-one solo battle; freestyle dance, a two-on-two battle; and a team contest where groups of between two and seven people will perform.
Whether it is breakdancing, body-popping, jazz, contemporary, Latin, samba, salsa or any other style, the contest will welcome it.
Prizes in the solo, duo and team categories are worth 12,000, 18,400 and 71,830 baht respectively, including cash, trophies and gifts.
On top of that the winners in all categories will be appointed ambassadors of Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya. Their duty will be to spread the spirit of rock music. They will be invited to participate in all initiatives the hotel launches during the rest of the year.
Applications for the solo and duo battles will be accepted until March 30, but the deadline for the team category closes on March 20.
