Let's take a little break from the flood of the Oscars. Here's another award show recently announced: within the span of three years, You2Play has established itself at the forefront of the music channel world. Thanks to its open-minded policy, the channel has been instrumental in giving exposure to artists and musicians of different calibres.
Mild won the Favourite Group Artist Award.
Last Thursday, You2Play threw a stylish, star-studded award ceremony hosted by Dome Pakorn Lum, Pae Arak, Day Thaitanium, Chin Chinnawut and Freddy V Southside. South Korea's Super Junior weren't present to collect their two awards for Favourite Asian Artist and Favourite Asian Music Video. Following the channel's tradition, the performances by various artists stuck to a collaborative format, and it proved to be highly entertaining. Lomosonic invited Greasy Cafe to perform on stage, while Dome Pakorn Lum showcased his two newly signed artists from Iconic Records. Big Ass also performed, as did Pae Arak and Southside, and the night ended with a performance from The Star alumni.
