Held annually, Silpakorn Summer Music School is considered to be the most prestigious of its king in Thailand.

About 100 young musical talents, selected by rigorous auditions, come to play music together and further their musical knowledge and experience under the guidance of Silpakorn's distinguished music faculty. This summer, internationally acclaimed conductor Yazaki has returned to collaborate with the young artists throughout the summer school, which will culminate with two grand performances of the "Scheherazade" concert.

Under his baton, the SSMS Orchestra will perform Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade Opus 35, Dvorak's Carnival Overture Opus 92, as well as Weber's celebrated Clarinet Concerto in F-Minor No.1, Opus 73, which will be played by Supak Wittayanukulluk, the winner of the 2013 Thailand Clarinet Competition. The first performance will take place at Tiffany's Show theatre, Pattaya, on April 6 at 2pm and the latter at the Mahisorn Hall of Siam Commercial Bank Head Office in Bangkok on April 7 at 5pm.
