The 23rd "Kabmongkol Day" will feature a classical Thai dance show at the National Theatre on Sunday, Oct 20 at 3pm, organised by the Thai Red Cross Society and Kabmongkol Thai Classical Dance School.

The annual event is aimed at commemorating ML Kab Kunchorn Na Ayudhya, who initiated the Thai classical band of the Department of Public Relations, and to raise funds for the Thai Red Cross Society.

This year's programme will feature several dance and music performances including "Welcoming Asean Dance", a classical play featuring an episode from the Inao play, a dance in honour of HM the King, classical music featuring some of His Majesty's compositions, a Thai dance, and lakorn nok (a dance drama with an all-male cast) featuring an episode from the Thai classical work of literature, Suwannahong.
