Bruno Mars' shocking disc-overy

It didn't take pop star Bruno Mars long to find pirated CDs of his own music in Bangkok and he's got the pictures to prove it, but he's being pretty good-natured about the discovery.

The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter posted pictures on Twitter of himself holding the discs at the roadside stall of a local CD vendor. He also thanked the people who came to his show in Bangkok on Thursday night and said he had a full day of sightseeing in the Thai capital.

He shared photos of spectators watching Muay Thai fighters in a ring, motorcycles getting stuck in traffic, and roasted scorpions on sticks. "Stomach felt a little weird after I ate this #Bangkok," the 28-year-old American pop sensation wrote.

He also posted a picture of himself smiling as he showed off four pirated CDs of his own music. "Got these Bootleg CDs #WhatayaGonnaDo? #Bangkok," he wrote.

It also appeared that the vendor was not aware that Bruno Mars was checking out his pirated products.

About 18 million people follow Bruno Mars on Twitter. Some of his Thai followers wrote that they felt embarrassed about the "ghost CDs".

The video clip above shows Bruno Mars' opening act and "Moonshine" Live in Bangkok, March 20th.
