A music video of the song <i>Kau Jai Tur Lak Bur Toh</i> (Your heart for my phone number) by Thai female country singer Ying Lee Sijumpol has exceeded 100 million views on YouTube after 14 months, the first country song here to reach this level of viewing.
The song was first uploaded on YouTube by the recording company, Grammy Gold, on Jan 23, 2013 and passed 100 million views on April 7, 2014.
The Buri Ram native said the 100 million views on YouTube was way beyond her expectations and she was very happy to learn that she was the first country song singer whose music video has received such overwhelming respond from the social media.
However, the music video with highest views in Thailand is Gai Kae Nai Keu Glai (How Far is Near?) by Getsunova band from Duck Bar label under the GMM Grammy Group. It has received 105.6 million views since being uploaded on Aug 23, 2012.
The most viewed music video on YouTube is Gangnam Style by Psy from South Korea with a total of around 1.95 billion views. It was uploaded on July 15, 2012.
