Gudni Emilsson will lead the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra in an exciting concert of American classics tomorrow and on Saturday.

The “West Side Story” concert will see the return of Russian-Icelandic clarinet soloist Dimitri Ashkenazy, who has been heralded as a captivating artist whose performances should not be missed.
This time around he will be playing Aaron Copland’s Concerto For Clarinet And Orchestra. The piece, originally written 1949 for jazz clarinetist Benny Goodman, mixes elements of classical and jazz music.
