The popular Hua Hin Jazz Festival returns to the charming beach resort on July 26.
Set to fill the atmosphere of Prachuap Khiri Khan’s Suan Luang Rachinee Park with authentic and quality music from 5pm to midnight will be a spectacular line-up of jazz artists, producers and instrumentalists.

The festival will open with “Saxophone Madness”, a jam session of leading saxophonists in Thailand. Koh Mr Saxman will headline this segment, which will be further boosted by the equally strong
performances by other heavyweights, including Pisoot Prateeprasen (T-Bone’s tenor saxophone player), Passakorn Mora (the latest Kom Chud Luek Award winner), Krit Booranawittayawut (producer), and legendary saxophonist Tewan Subsanyakorn, who will appear as a very special guest.
Then comes the festival’s debut performances by new stars who have proven themselves to Thai audiences through singing competitions. They include May, Fang Khao and Nut from The Voice, King from The Star, Pure from KPN, and Nat from the Thailand Jazz Singing Contest.
The evening will also feature international showcases by the Steve Canon Band and The Travellers. American jazz trumpeter Steve will present songs from his new album as well as some romantic songs as a tribute to the legendary Chet Baker.
The audience will then be treated to the highly acclaimed band The Travellers from Japan, who represent a perfect combination of jazz-rock-swing and bossa nova.
Also set to make a big hit during their special show by the beach will be Infinity, Thailand’s very own jazz fusion band. Led by Chumpol Supanyo, these talented musicians have recorded several albums and won many awards.
The finale on the night will be Soul After Six, whose alternative legacy conforms to pop, rock and jazz. Stylistic in their own way, the trio is one of the longest remembered artists of their time, with their songs being enjoyed by younger generations today. They will prepare a unique brass instrument for a repertoire of songs from the 1980s, especially those of The Tower of Power.
