Yamaha Ratchada Music School will present the “Giovanni De Cecco Piano Recital” as part of the Bangkok International Piano Festival 2014 at Siam Ratchada Music Auditorium on Friday at 7.30pm.

De Cecco will perform music by the Bach family, including Sonata In E-Minor, Solfeggietto In C-Minor, Rondo In B-Minor and Fantasia In D-Minor by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach; Prelude And Fugue In F-Sharp Minor BWV 883 by Johann Sebastian Bach; and Sonata In C-Minor by Johann Christian Bach.
The evening’s programme also includes Beethoven’s Sonata In C-Minor, Op 13 (Grande Sonate Pathétique) and Wagner/Liszt’s Elsas Brautzug Zum Münster Aus (Lohengrin) and Isoldens Liebestod Aus (Tristan Und Isolde).
A graduate from the Venice Conservatory of Music, De Cecco has performed all over the world. He is currently an associate professor at the Accademia Alban Berg of Pescara, Italy.
