Nothing feels like the luxury craftsmanship and technical refinement, especially when it's something that runs in the family. Gabrielecorto Moltedo, the founder of 7-year-old luxury handbag line Corto Moltedo, boasts such blood as son of Laura and Vittorio Moltedo, founders of Bottega Veneta. The lifetime apprenticeship at the helm of his parents' business and the contrasting environs of Venice and New York where he grew up in could hardly fail to make an intriguing design talent, no less. And yes, the Corto Moltedo bags are just the Italian crafts plus the funky and bold sensibility of the New York girls.

With flagships in Paris and Milan, Corto Moltedo has established itself as accessories line for girls who just want to be different _ the jet-setters who carry a bag that define themselves, and not be defined _ or stereotyped _ by the brand of bags they carry. Now, now, Corto Moltedo is making a very special visit to the City of Angels. And it's for three days only!
The exclusive trunk show, to be held at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Residences of MahaNakhon Pavilion, feature approximately 70 handbags from both the coming Spring/Summer 2012 collection as well as iconic items in classic colours, be it the famous Priscilla tote inspired by Priscilla Presley or celebrities' favourite Cassette Tape Clutch. Starting from tomorrow until Sunday, the Trunk Show will also make the Asian premiere of the short film for the sizzling SS12 Collection, Solitaria by Dustin Lynn.
