Fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld probably has a large collection of eyeshadows but oddly the variety of shades are used for something else, and not as make-up.
"Even before I knew them (Shu Uemura), I bought, for over 20-25 years, all the eyeshadows," he said. "I paint with them and use them like an artist's pastel. I design with Shu Uemura make-up because other manufacturers do not offer such a big and beautiful colour choice."
Using the eyeshadows to make sketches, one of them has come to life as the cute "Mon Shu girl" dressed up in the designer's symbolic white shirt and black tie. Her glossy black hair boasts a bob cut with straight bangs while her avant-garde makeup has her batting extravagant false lashes and pouting electrifying red lips.
